Fair Days and School Grades

Nathan and I managed to squeeze in a quick trip to Dallas last weekend to visit family and see the State Fair of Texas (Nathan's first time). We spent two days at the fair and on Saturday we drove up to Honeygrove to visit Mom and Dad. Here are a few of the photos I took at the Fair and at Honeygrove...

School is still going well, big shocker there huh? Who knew I had it in me to get A's and B's? I've never had grades like this and it's addictive. I get special attention in class and several of my teachers remark on my enthusiasm in class. My English teacher told me I was his brightest student this semester and my Anatomy teacher stopped me after class with words of encouragement for our upcoming exam saying that I was the last student she would be worried about in her class and that it was apparent that I was studying more than anyone else. Okay, enough patting myself on the back here. Just one more thing though. History was made last week when midterm grades were posted and I officially have an A in my math class. I screamed so loud my teacher jumped..kinda embarrassing now that I think back on it. Believe it or not I am still very humble. Even though I am now taking 17 hours (I just added another quick 8 week course last friday) these classes are very easy compared to what's next. I'm just thankful to be starting out on the right foot here for the first time ever ;)
