One step closer to getting my hunting license

This past weekend found the Hoyt's at the local Skeet range with a few friends. Nathan and Justin have both grown up doing this. Me on the other hand, not so much. This was my first shot with anything other than a handgun.





I was prepared for it to hurt but I didn't feel it at all. Hitting the target proved to be a bit difficult for me but mostly because I was using Nathan's gun and it was too long for me.




Nathan brought two of his shotguns. Why you need more than one I'll never know.






We already have a group going next weekend again. The range is, according to Nathan, one of the nicer ones he has seen and it's on post so you can't beat the price. With views like these how could you NOT want to make a hobby out of this?!
