So the house is completely box free.

What?

You wondering about THESE boxes?

Oh I suppose you think the garage counts too huh?!

And don't forget the guest room which despite my best efforts is taking on a "camou" inspired decor.

Yes, Nathan I AM counting and that makes 5 camelbacks, hiding them in the closet on hangers won't fool me.

Besides the garage (for the record, that is Nathan's job) the house is finished.
The guest room WAS finished before the camouflage explosion. Nathan is in the process of being issued loads of gear for deployment. He is a bubble of joy every time he arrives home with a new truck load of gear to unwrap and inspect. Here he is sporting his new Army issued, Oakley goggles.

Those of us who know you can tell you are in fact smiling, nice try though.

Here are some photos to give you all some perspective on how a couple with no children manage to fill a four bedroom house.

The front room, intended as a dining room, has become our office. The white desk was newly acquired via Craiglist. A quick shout out to the table's prior owner, who was so sad to sell her 6 foot long, perfect scrapbooking table that she wrote her name and number under the tabletop in case I decide to sell it again someday. Soon we will have a REAL desk and this table will fulfill it's scrapbooking duties to me!

Onto our kitchenette where our old "desk" now serves its intended purpose as a dining table.

And onto the kitchen which we still need to get bar stools for. Thanks to my mom for helping me create "the red table".

And finally here is the living room. Don't ask me why there is an Army med unit shipping trunk serving as an ottoman in the middle of my living room. It has magically reappeared after several attempts at relocating it to the garage and I have since given up trying to explain its existence.

That's all for now.
To all of our friends and family...
