Meanwhile, I am attempting to make the house look as though I have kept it clean these past 9 weeks. Not an easy thing to do with FOUR dogs running around and the fact that I have been a useless bum the entire 9 weeks.
Yes.
I said FOUR dogs.
Goose is still here, learning to be a well behaved house dog despite my best efforts to coax her onto the couch for cuddling.
She visited our new Vet, Dr. Jenny, to get all of her vaccines, blood tests and a microchip. She is officially a new dog with a clean bill of health. Dr. Jenny was impressed with the results of the hip surgery Goose had back in July (kudos to Dr. Jamie and Nathan). She commented that often her patients would not be using that leg quite yet but Goose has regained full use of it. She runs, jumps, and dashes up and down the stairs of house with the other dogs.
To top it off I ordered her very own dog collar with her chip ID# and name engraved on it.

All that remains is taking her through her Canine Good Citizenship training course and then hopefully we can place her into a loving home before Nathan deploys again.
Nathan is doing well, anxious to get home. He stays busy writing papers and power point presentations for class.
This past semester at my new school has gone great. I love the faculty and the campus is well funded and beautiful.
I have reapplied for the Surgical Technician program that begins next Fall and hopefully will find out sometime this Spring if I made it. The admission is based on a point system with certain classes ranking higher than others and the grades you've made a worth a certain number of points. Basically if you make awesome grades in the tougher pre-requisite classes than you will have more points.
Being a transfer student makes it a bit tricky for me since the demands of the course can often get lost in translation. Keep your fingers crossed.

I can't believe I didn't make the header picture.
Just for that, I plan to fail dog training school and live with you forever.
